Veronica Janis joined Clear Income Strategies Group as operations director in 2017. “I officially joined the firm in order to support the transition of personnel. After much discussion and planning. Dolph and I both realized that we can make CISG stronger if we work together. My contribution to the company is ‘behind the scenes’ in operations,” Veronica says.
Before joining the team at Clear Income Strategies Group, Veronica coordinated the Language Department at Wingate University, and taught advanced Spanish courses there. Before that, she taught Spanish at UNC Charlotte.
As our operations director, Veronica helps ensure we all work together as a team, always with our clients’ highest satisfaction in mind. “As a retirement planning company, Clear Income Strategies Group works on providing “safety” from risks like losing money in the stock market as clients plan for their retirement and beyond. What I most enjoy is seeing how grateful our clients are to have clarity about their personal financial situation in retirement. And I am most proud of the times we have helped people through difficult life challenges,” she says.
“As operations director, I help make sure clients are aware of important dates and help keep all of their records accurate and up to date. I love conversing with them when they visit; they are just like family to us. We build good relationships with our clients and connect with them throughout the year,” Veronica says.
In addition to her devotion to clients, she is also very involved in the community. “As a company, we invite our clients to join efforts in supporting big impact organizations like Second Harvest Food Bank, The Sandbox, and many others over the years. As a mother, I also like to be involved in school activities as a volunteer,” she says.
Veronica is a huge believer in both hard work as well as pursuing higher education. Born and raised in Mexico, Veronica has lived in the USA since 1998. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in food science in her hometown of San Luis Potosi in Mexico, then went on in the U.S. to earn her Master of Arts degree in Spanish translation and interpretation, plus a graduate certificate in business from the University North Carolina – Charlotte.
In her free time, Veronica enjoys spending time with her husband, Dolph, and their daughter, Samantha, and the family resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. She enjoys exercising, traveling, reading, organizing, and crafting as well as learning about health and self-development.
